Pilates EXO Chair Workout - All Levels - with Light Resistance Kit
The idea behind the EXO Chair came from Joseph Pilates original Chair he called the “Wunda.” It was originally designed as a home exercise machine for small city apartments. It could be converted into a Chair and used as living furniture.
Today, the EXO Chair adds a more contemporary update by adding elastic bands known as Functional Resistance Kits.
I would encourage you to purchase the light yellow resistance kit. If you feel like you are really strong, a blue resistance kit will be right for you.
The Chair is considered to be the most challenging piece of Pilates equipment within the repertoire and known for building overall strength in the entire body.
There are all kinds of exercises one can do on the Chair and with over 30 different exercise categories, one can work on core strength, leg strength, shoulder girdle stability, mobility and strengthen the upper body for great functional movements such as standing, climbing, pushing, and lifting.
