It is important to observe a client's general posture, note any alignment irregularities and assess any limitations within their mobility.
This initial postural analysis will help me understand what needs to be strengthen, what needs to be stretched with a neutral position in mind along with any modifications needed to ensure one has a successful Pilates session.

Ease- how effortless one can do a difficult move.
Economy- one learns to do a difficult move using the least amount of energy (economy) for the most return.
Effectiveness- to move with ease and economy in mind, one creates efficient movement through and around all planes of motion can occur.
